Services We Offer

When’s the best time to plant blueberry bushes?
What are the best varieties to plant?
How do I irrigate my bushes?
Who can help me pick the blueberries?
Where do I go to pack them for market?
Who will buy my blueberries?

If you are a blueberry grower, chances are that you have asked yourself these and other similarly critical questions at some point during your annual production of blueberries. Membership in the Miss-Lou Blueberry Growers Cooperative will provide you with all the information you need to plant, harvest and market this remarkable crop.

Our growers have intimate and extensive knowledge about the climate and soil conditions in the area we serve. They know firsthand which varieties of the plant are the most successful in this region.

Assistance with planting and mechanical harvesting are available from growers in the co-op and we offer two packing and drop off stations in the area, one in Purvis, MS, and the other in McComb. These packing facilities used the latest technology to ensure that your fruit meets all food safety requirements.

Membership in the Miss-Lou Blueberry Growers Cooperative will help you to achieve a more productive and profitable blueberry season than if you try to make it in your own.
